Unfortunately we had to leave early to get sam home in time for the vet! which didnt end up coming ( long story) so who got the championships? who won horse and hound and handy pony??? Had a fab day nice to meet everyone!! hehe alison i have a soft spot for tinker now  |

Hi Karen Just wanted to say lovely to meet you. Sorry about poor Sam! I hope he is ok! At least Fran managed to get a ride today so all was not lost! I cant remember the results - sorry!!!  |

sorry Penny keep meaning to reply. Got back to yard and some friends helped us sort him out, he walked out the trailer limping bless him, both his back legs were swolen, so hosed them down for 5 mins, then soaked the cut in hibiscrub and hot water, and gave him some feed with bute in. His wounds not too bad actually, weve bandaged it up, and put ice tight stuff on his back legs, he seemed to be walking sound out to the field. Been advised to give him a couple of days before calling the vet,hopefully he shoould be ok! He walked straight into the trailer and didnt even stumble, its amazing how just swapping sides makes him so much more balanced. Thanks alot for helping us today, dont know what we would of done without you, Jill and others. Will keep you updated |

Please do keep us informed. Sam is a lovely pony and hopefully he will be back to full strength very very soon.
Keep up the cold hosing as well. I am sure it will help.

Oooo he tripped up in trailer on way, down on his knees couldnt get back up, got him sorted and he seemed chilled out so set off again. Got there ok and he had broken his travel boot, torn off his back shoe and cut his coronet?? band. Hadd to cut some of his feather off to clean it up  as soon as he saw food he seemed to forget about the psin though lol...typical dales. |

Fran you will be pleased to know that you and Tinker got 4th in the Handy pony, as you know I was expecting you to get first so slightly disappointed  but Well Done anyway LOL Then you also got Novice Unregistered Reserve Champion!!!! Yay - well done tinker and Fran ;D ;D ;D ;D |
