I just got back from a VERY wet show!!! EVERYTHING is completely soaked! I have only done one show in the rain before, and at that one he was very naughty!! HOWEVER, we timed everything wrong and ended up late for the class! Anyway, as soon as we went in we did our trot round and were first to stand up for the judge! Just imagine, I had been running for about half a mile (from box!) non-stop by this stage!! ANyway, Rocky didn't have time to think about being naughty, so was a little angel (apart from not wanting to turn right, but that's an ongoing issue!!!). Anyway, we came 6th which I was really pleased with and for the first time in quite a while, we weren't last!!! I have been quite disheartened by local shows, so today has perked me up a bit!!! Especially as it was a show that we had to qualify for in the first place!!!
We're off to NCPA tomorrow.
Hopefully I will be able to get some pics on later.

Congratulations Hannah and Rocky! I was there on Saturday getting soaked to the skin too. Unfortunately Jay didn't get anywhere in the ridden cob class But there were a rediculously high number of horses in the ring so we didn't have enough room to get into much of a canter Ah well at least i could actually get him to canter unlike at the performance show! ;D But little Archie, our miniature shetland, had a great day......he came 5th in the in-hand coloured class! And at only his second ever show, bless him! All the others in the class were big horses so he looked a little out of place ;D Its a shame about the weather cos the sunday was cancelled, and Jay was meant to be doing the M+M WH
