Now Big M has finished for the season and little magic has got settled enough at home we thought he could go for his third outing today. Slightly unsettled in the collecting ring (i wasn't sure a soft hat was the best option to wear on my head) but after 10 minutes of having a nosy round he settled lovely. He was just into a mixed youngstock and we picked up a fifth which i was happy with as he is just improving every time he goes out. Long reining at home is really paying off and we finally were able to trot round all the corners of the ring instead of doing little circles in each Its interesting to see him out against other youngsters and we decided today he is about the maturity of a rising two year old rather than a 2.5 year old (it makes a huge difference at this age) but I'm expecting him to really bulk out over winter now he's on some hard feed. Anyway enough ponderings ;D and a nice picture...

Well, he has already altered a lot since he came to you. Lovely to hear he is settling in to it nicely as well.

He looks fab!! I think my Rocket looks like a rising 2 year old, not 2.5 too!!! Again, like you, let's hope winter brings some filling out!!! Rocky has gone into hospital today! Having the lump removed tomorrow under general anaesthetic! I hope this doesn't set him back!
