OMG Somebody wanted their 'little darling' to win, although they obviously didnt think they were able enough without the help of a bit of sedative to rivals! Dont you just love the 'its the taking part that counts' parent!!

Mad, isn't it? I don't envy the poor kids with such pushy, ambitious parents.

For god's sake, to some people it's 'win at all costs', very sad when individuals can't take healthy competition and have to resort to behaving like this I'd be interested to know if they prosecute the parent?

I feel sorry for the boy as he compete alot in uk spesh at wales and west now people will probably frown apon him even if he didnt have anything to do with it.
The parent should be frowned upon, I dont get how she thought she could get away with dopeing so many ponies

Aparently he has really nice ponies as were I use to go my friend who lives there showjumps for britian in under 16s and they come across him regulaly and he has a high chance of winning as it is. This amazed me more if he has such a high chance of winning did she go to such lengths/

The CPS are not persuing a criminal prosecution because of a "technicality".............would that be on the grounds of insanity?

people who are BSJA registered got sent this on behalf of local paper in Jersey they want to make the local government if not also the UK reconsider the current status of the law that allows doping another owners pony without any fear of prosecution which is obviously an appalling and frightening prospect. If any of you have the time could you please write a letter to the editor at editorial@jerseyeveningpost.com detailing your views. Hopefully the more input the better especially if coming in from beyond the shores of Jersey. You could help change the law! (please include name and address so not anon although they will only print 'by email' or your county as applicable not full address) and so did we even though I havnt been registered for 4years
