I like the idea of the walk trot tests - haven't mastered canter yet - if only to get an honest opinion of how I am doing - or not as the case may be.
Now, who do i know with a video........

If anyone near Lincoln needs a camerawoman to film their test, I have a video camera and a fairly steady hand on offer! ;D

I like the sound of this. How about we also have a 'non-horse' class for all those who can't do it ridden?
We could have an award within it for best hobby horse made from an old broom and test could be done in a half size arena.

That IS a good idea Heather! I may well have a hobby horse, complete with trotting and neighing sounds shortly......

Popcorn Schmopcorn Debbie! Where's your hobby horse? Uncle Drummer says he wants to see his niece do the walk/trot test in hand with his Aunty Debbie!

LOL.... Well tell Uncle Drummer that Blossom was Miss Sticky Stifle yesterday, and she's not really up to doing a dressage video....And if that weren't enough, our video formats aren't compatable.... LOL..... Oh yes, and Blossom says "Hang the test, I'd rather eat popcorn with Mum! ;D " ...only I'm not too sure I'd get to have any popcorn with Blossom 'sharing' That would be cute though...a diddy dressage test in hand with walk/trot. You've gotten me thinking now, Heather....hmmmm... maybe I should take a peek at some of these dressage tests...

This has now got the go ahead, so arranging rules with judge this weekend, and got to book rosettes!! Will be walk and trot test which i will post and Prelim 7 which is readily available! This will not be classical this time, as will take too long to get the agreements, but I can look into this for the future!
Suggest end november for closing date so you have 5 weeks to get practising!

Quick question. My neighbours would probably like to do this as they don't have transport so can't ever compete, the 10yr old in partiuclar is feeling she's missing out.
Could we discuss and decide whether we'll have it open to non DF members please?
