I did terrible. Only got one (1) ride in this year before the show. Comet was beside himself. He forgot what shows were. He is only 4. Didn't help that snow and ice were falling off the indoor roof! I was happy just to stay on him. I placed 6th, 6th, 6th, and 5th. I will do better...I will do better.....I will do better.

Oh never mind, 6th sounds good to me! The imprtant thing is you and Comet enjoyed the day.
What sort of competition was it?

It was a cavaletti (Can't spell this time of day), hunter under saddle, walk trot, and can't remember the last one. It is the snow and ice falling off the building that I remember the most. That and a 13 year old girl riding a draft over fences! WOW that was some site!

Well done for taking part - don't worry we all have days like that! I used to do Hunter classes with Pip (my Morgan), and depending on how he behaved, was either first or last LOL!

you know what they say! there is only one way to go when you start at the top, so 5th and 6th places are respectable enough indeed. Well done!

Well done for bothering to turn out in that weather- it's more than many of us would have done.

Its hard not to aim high, but really when the ice and snow is slipping from the roof, its an unhinging noise for horse or rider I think you made a very respectable start to the show season And afterall, its only the first show...there's plenty of others ahead !!
