I must get a fake tail for Comet. Tropper never needed a fake tail. He had a tail that was big and beautiful. Do ya'll ever use fake tails there? (of course not on Dales or Fells!)

I'm sure you can get them over here, but I've never had to use one - all my horse and ponies' tails have been really thick, apart from Aspen's but he was quite young.

They use fake tails all the time here. At least that is what I have discovered. My dales never needed anything like this......WOW

They are if the horse has a naturally thinner tail (or has had an accident with a tail munching pasture buddy). I don't think in the US they consider it cheating, as its just to present a more 'pleasing appearance' Pretty common in the showing world, whether you're doing western, english or saddleseat.
