Space on lorry so YO asked if we wanted to go for some jumping, my dad answered yes for me so I couldnt back out of it
Well Had to stay there last night as its 2hours away, got so drunk I couldnt get up this morning then was sick on my clean horse
So Smartie had to be scrubbed again poor beastie he wasnt impressed.
He loaded straight away as good as gold, but then he kept calling all the way there bless, I had to clean my tack on the way though and we stopped 4times for me to be sick
Got there got them off and ready, was ment to do the 75cm but I was ill so couldnt, wasnt going to jump but got made to do the 85cm and we had 2poles down but he jumped EVERYTHING no refusals at all......We lost an overreach boot halfway round though
Then did 95cm and felt so much more confident and we got through to jumpoff, I left him down as got abit cocky and turned him into the oxer with a stride before he had to jump he tried it but got to deep as he was a little unsure and we knocked it.
BUT I cannot believe how good he was and how confident I was means I can jump bigger at home now hopefully without getting scared.
Went to was YO do the 1m15 and Smartie ended up hooling it about all the lorrys with a snapped leadrope so had to try and catch him, he was having a right laugh and after 15mins with loads of people helping we got him then he ate half my burger
But he loaded perfectly and was more settled on the way home.....plus he smelt better then he did this morning
Cant wait till next time, no pics that we took but proof ones should be going on website tonigth, may look at with one overeach bootie haha xxxx
I still can't get my head round jump heights in cm (I need ft and inches) but whatever the height, you've got a real gem in Smartie. What a star he is!
