We had a wonderful day at the show yesterday. There was a huge turnout. It was lovely to meet up with lots of familiar DF friends again and to meet some new ones. I tried to catch up with everyone I knew would be there but I missed a few of you - really sorry about that but it was so crowded and so difficult to find every one. Well done all of you competing with your ponies. I think I saw every one's ponies in the rings even if I didn't get the opportunity to say hello. Andy took loads of pics with his new all singing and dancing SLR but can't download them onto our computer - he will just have to give way and buy me a laptop! I only took one or 2 pics with my old camera as I knew Andy's would be better. mine are pretty poor but here are a couple: Dales-fans picnic: Anna with Colliery Magic (they came 4th) Karen (Lanclass) with Waterside Dave Penmire Dudley Roandale Banna - don't think he was placed but me and Ali fell in love with him for his laid back temperment Brian with Stilton Mr Tom None are very good I'm afraid. Hopefully we can get some of Andy's on eventually and I'm sure some of you took better pics - would love to see them

How could he Karen?? He looks positively angelic in that pic! Really sorry to hear about the colic, but relieved he's back to his usual self. So I guess I'll spare the pity for him, as you're the one sporting the bruise? Lovely, lovely pics Pam I finally get to see some!!! Yippee!!! Ooooh, tell them to send that Roandale Banna to the US I know of some ladies that would loooove to have him here I don't think we have any roans yet in the US.

Little monkey, Karen!! Popping in a quick nip in front of the judge when you can't do anything about it!! I'm so glad he's alright though, he did look rather stressed when I saw you at the end. I haven't really got anything new in the picture line to add....and these were taken on my phone so not best quality. But here they are....... Penmire Dudley (again!!) Lunch Bev and Pam examining the schedule.

Brilliant day so nice to meet up with everyone again, and to meet some new people! sorry to have missed loads of people. I didn't take many pics I was too busy blethering, but here a few I did manage to take DFs picnic Alison and Waterside Jasmine, look at her gorgeous dapples Karen and Dave Nicola and Charlie Roger and the lovely Raygill William (Prince's sire) looking good at 25 Anna and little Magic looking very grown up Not sure who this stallion is but in the background is Sue one of the people I missed speaking to This stallion moved rather strangely behind

I'm loving the extra pics too!!! I wonder if that last bay stallion was moving oddly behind because he's got a 'growth spurt'? His hindlegs look really long and lanky, like Blossom's does when she gets a growth spurt. He's gorgeous, though... And doesn't "Little Magic" look wonderful?! I think Anna's done a fab job of bringing him on. I can still remember the pics of him fresh off the fields Ooooh, and that Waterside Jasmine looks gorgeous!!! Alison looks like she was having such a fun time too Thanks for letting me know about Penmire Dudley I think he's lovely, but then given half a shot, I'd take 'em all home ;D
