Did anyone read the write up in Hores and Hound? The Fell stallion, Littletree Bodini, who was Non Welsh Champion and nearly overall Champion, by the sound of it, was in the same class as Waterside Grace (Fell, Dales and Highland, 4 and over) and she stood 2nd to him, with a lovely Highland stallion the other side!!!), and the judge made it look like it wasn't a clear cut choice for 1st place! It was a big class, but she was the only Dales in it.
We were delighted at the time, but reading the write up are even more so. I showed her, and as she moves more spectacularly the faster she goes, and never breaks pace, I am quite proud of myself as I had to really go for it, which isn't easy at my age (50 this year). I could have done with an oxygen cylinder afterwards tho!
We didn't stay for the championship as the weather was terrible, which was stupid, as she might have stood reserve champion. Well done Gracie, you are a star!!!!
