First of all millions of HUGE thanks to Pam for lending Harvey to me for the Performance Show - he was an absolute star and I had a wonderful day. Ali and I shared him, so we both had to go HC, BUT if we'd been counted we'd have got 4th in the novice working hunter, 4th in the novice dressage and 3rd in the novice showjumping. We also got 2nd in the Horse & Hound class which was loads of fun - and huge thanks to Nikki and Ben for partnering me and Harvs. Harvey was as good as gold, a little reluctant at first......and I was exhausted after the working hunter, but as the day went on he got more and more enthusiastic and in the end I think he really enjoyed himself. I managed to fall off at the end of the showing jumping jump off!! We'd just finished and everyone burst out cheering and clapping and Harvs did a little teensy spook - but because I hadn't checked the girth before we started, the saddle slipped and off I came. LOL could hardly get up for giggling! Silly, silly me!!!! Ali did brilliantly - but I'll leave it to her to tell her news. She rode Harvs really well and I can't believe how confident she is now compared to last year.....well done Ali It really is a lovely show, friendly and encouraging and a jewel in the DPS crown.

Gill here - yes it was a lovely day and Sue did brilliantly riding Harvey, even her unfortunate departure from the saddle was out of sight for most of us LOL!
Got some nice pics which I will upload as soon as I get home.

I'm too exhausted to post properly right now but what a fabulous day! Huge thanks to Sue for riding Harvey so nicely. It is true, he really did enjoy the day the more he did. It was a pleasure to watch. Also I am so proud of Ali for the way she rode Harvey today. As usual, a wonderful show - the highlight of our year!
Modified to say Andy took 170 pics from the day so it will be a while before we sort through them and post a few!

It was a lovely day. I could only stay for the morning as I had to get back to see to D but really enjoyed the time I spent there. The PS has such a happy atmosphere and there are so many smiling faces! Lovely to catch up with friends and sorry for those I missed. There were some truely super ponies. Tinkerdorisalison's pony - Dukes brother, I can't remember his name at the moment (old age you know) particularly caught my eye. His young rider and him were brilliant, a lively happy pair. I'd love to know how they did, hopefully someone caught a picture of them. I was sorry to miss the Show jumping jump off, it sounds as though it was entertaining! Looking forward to seeing the pictures. Would you belive I FORGOT MY CAMERA! Ahhhhhhhh!

Can you believe it - my memory card in my camera has corrupted!!! So all my lovely pictures from yesterday are no more!!! No a one survivied!!!!! I am so cross!!!! My OH had taken some lovely ones - especially of the line up at the end!!!
Anyway - no point crying over spilt milk - if anyone caught any of me and the hairy beast, I would be greatful for a gander of them!!
It was a fantastic day yesterday - perfect weather and full of hairy ponies!!!
It was a fantastic turnout as well!!!
And big thanks to Sue - who after she fell off - came to find me and dancer as we were in the jump off and didnt realise!!!! I was sat chilling out and dancer was stuffing his face! But with some help and speedy tacking up we were sorted! LOL

Well done everyone!!!! I'm so glad so many people have had such a fun time I know of the DPS shows, the Performance show seems to be the most popular. Sorry to hear about your lost photos Jo I never realized a memory card could be corrupted! These 'newfangled' things leave me in the dust. Looking forward to the 170 pics though ;D I take it Andy was in his element with the camera?
