I expect you all remember the trophy Dalesfans bought last year with the proceeds from the Photo Show? It was to be presented at the Performance Show to the rider and pony who gained the most points over all in the Handy Pony Classes. This year's winner of the trophy was Harriet Sykes with Village Velvet.  Congratulations Harriet and Velvet! Very well done! |

I was talking to Harriet at the Perf Show and I think she said that Village Velvet was a driving pony and hadn't done much jumping - well she certainly did well over the jumps!!

Thanks for putting this pic on, Evie. She really is a smashing pony. I think she won or was placed in quite a few classes on the day, including the driving? She certainly caught my eye.
