I use Tesco or Morrisons smoked salmon trimmings for this one - much cheaper than the sliced stuff and just as good.
This serves about 4.......my amounts are not the best so you might have to improvise!!
Enough pasta shells for 4 8 fl oz double cream 15ml whisky 2 packs smoked salmon trimmings (about 3/4lb)
Heat a large dish in the oven. Cook the pasta. Meanwhile, heat the whisky gently in a pan so it just bubbles. Add the cream slowly to the whisky and mix. Add the smoked salmon and stir a bit! Season to taste with salt and pepper Drain the pasta, put it in the oven dish, pour the cream/whisky/salmon over and stir. Cook in a med oven for about 30 mins.
Garnish with parsley if you want and serve.

Sounds great, two of my favourite things (whisky and smoked salmon).

I don't like Smoked Salmon or Whiskey, but I will pass this recipe to a friend.

When does the smoked salmon go in please??
Seems a shame to bubble the whiskey...! LOL!

I could eat Salmon for every meal - I am addicted. Not really a whisky drinker though, but I may try it out of curiousity - if Rick will release his vice like grip on the his whisky bottle that is.
