I made up a lovely sauce that i served with veg, chicken and mash.
Onion x 2, garlic and bacon (chopped into little pieces), cook in a pan. Whilst that is cooking make a white sauce in the microwave making sure it is seasoned. Once thickened, i added in Shropshire Blue cheese to taste, then added the white cheese sauce into the bacon, onion and garlic, left to simmer for 5 mins. uuummm was very yummy on top of the chicken.

That sounds lovely. I don't really like blue cheese so I might try it with cheddar.

Sounds lovely... I bet this sauce would be nice wiht a good steak as well, remember the steak and stilton eara? I think Ill try this, and add some whole green pepper corns too...

UUUMMM, i would have thought it would be really good on steak as well, with pepper corns.
