yes! We like them a lot!
We get them from shoots - most of the shooters don't want them to eat! I don't mind shoots if they eat what they have shot, but it seems a bit unethical to me to just shoot for the heck of it. I'll get off my high horse now!!
We quite often just take out the breasts and legs if they are big, and casserole them. I'm not a very goot plucker so we tend to skin rather than pluck them.
If you can be bothered plucking , or get them ready plucked, they are lovely roast and then cold on toast!!

Yes, my neighbour gave me a couple and I had to hang, draw and quarter them! Like Pam I ended up skinning them as they were so 'well hung' the skin literally came away. You have to have quite a strong stomach as the smell isn't too pleasant LOL! Can't remember quite what I did with them but think I casseroled them in red wine.
