just had a call from my friend. her horsebox was found this afternoon by clitheore police blocking a small lane off the A59 Salesbury. she isn't sure of the damage or what has been taken, if anything........the police phorensics [can't spell this sorry!] have taken the lorry.

Thank god for that, I'm pleased it's been found. I was just about to print a pic of it off for Nick to keep in his van when he's driving round it case it ended up down here.

Brilliant - hope it's OK. It'll come back from forensics covered in silver powder from the fingerprinting stuff though........

thanks for the kind words folks........i will tell susan. she was and still is gutted about the fact someone could actually do this! she has the worry now of finding out whats actually gone missing, if anything has and if theres any damage to the lorry. thanks for that sue, i will let her know. it will be well worth silver powder everywhere if they can match some fingerprints or get some serious clues as to who has taken it. THANKYOU everyone who has read the thread on the stolen box and taken note etc.......its much appreciated

Great news that the Police fond it before they re-sprayed it or got it out of the country. I hope there is no damage to that lovely box.

Brilliant to hear of someone who's actually gotten their horsebox back!!! Usually once swiped, that's it. I'm sure a decent powerwashing will get rid of the silver forensics powder. I hope the police are able to apprehend someone from this....

Brilliant news. I'd advise though that she goes and has the engine checked ASAP after it's returned to her. When my old car was stolen they boy raced it flat out up and down the motorway and there wasn't any visual damage to my eye but when my mechanic friend took it apart to check internal damage he showed me how all sorts of things had 'blown' or were on the verge of siezing up.
