I probably should have put this in events, but I figure more people will see it in horsey chat, anyway we have another EGB ride in MARGAM PARK In April its a really lovely venue over two days, the park itself is well worth a visit, so I thought I would put an invitation up to any dalesfans who may fancy a break with there ponies and the opportunity to ride in this glorious countryside, I can provide some accommodation plenty of space for horse boxes/trailer, corralling and stabling for a max of I would say six horses, plenty of room for camping as well, come on Gill, Sue and Linda you are dying to come to wales and it would be great fun ! I cannot tell you all just how gorgeous this park is!!!! Vanda took me there when I visited back in 2003, and its got to be one of the loveliest places I've ever seen. As a horse venue, its got to be phenomenal. I can only wish I could come  Be sure to take loads of pics for me Vanda  |

The ride itself is really lovely, last year all the rhodedendrons were in full bloom and it was just amazing, they have just started to build an equestrian center there as well, so there are big plans afoot. I know Debbie loved it when she came over to stay, Deb I wish you could come, can we smuggle Blossom over in your backpack lol.

It took me about 2.5 hours to get home from you last time Gill, it would be lovely if you could make it for the weekend.I should add that I came home at quite a steady pace so I would think it would,nt be too bad for you in a lorry.

Thanks for the invite Vanda but I will have to pass on this one. I haven't got a rideable pony and we aren't doing much in the way of holidays/trips this year as we are saving to go to NZ next year. Sounds a wonderful day though and I hope whoever goes takes LOTS of photos! Have fun!
