Found out on Friday that it hurts been bucked off a 17hh I rode Sovereign for his vetting and he thought it was ever so exciting to canter in the field so he went into rodeo pony mode and I came off quite hard - landed mainly on my bum but didn't let go of reins quick enough :kopfpatsch: so spun round and smacked my head on the ground, luckily though it was fairly soft. I hurt my head, my bum, my ribs and my shoulder :bawling: Saturday I rode Fearn in the school for 20 mins just working on bending and walk - halt transitions with minimum contact as she had already been ridden for 45 minutes. Then yesterday we had some jumps arrive ( Queen B) so set up a jumping lane and loose jumped Fearn over them - think she really enjoyed it, then later on in the day me and Carol hacked out on Solo and Fearn (only a quick 15 minute walk around the block). Heres some piccies and a video (if it works!): Fearn in the field 15.02.08Sanyo in the field 15.02.08Sovereign 15.02.08 This shows his size properly as I can just about see over the top of his door and I'm 5'3/4!) A rare site!and if it works, here is the video: Flying pony

At least you hopped right back on and kept on riding. That'll do wonders for your confidence. Cripes what a L O O O N G way to fall, though Did that upset his sale? Loved the other pics and the vid of Fearn jumping. Looks like she really enjoys her jumpies

I didn't get back on Sovereign - decided I would be better off not to!! I got on Fearn - a lot closer to the ground (14.2!!). Nope didn't upset the sale at all - he was just full of the joys of Spring!!

LOL...yes, closer to the ground appeals to me too, that's why I stick with the ponies. Glad it didn't upset the sale for Sovereign. He looks a sweet sort, even if he was on springs
