Help - How to write in a new baby card

OK, i am sure i have asked this before, but what do you all write and who do you make the card out to etc for a new baby card. I have two to write and have already made a mess of one, . I some how never really know what to put.

Is it going to the home?? And is it a boy or girl??

You could always say, "Congratulations on your new arrival!!"

Yes - congratulations as Debbie says. Welcome to the new baby. Hope the family settles together quickly. Hope Mum gets over the birth quickly. Wishing happy times together. etc etc

i always put something like .... ie

dear john and rachel congratulations and well done indeed! and a huge welcome to " bethany"

and if theyve got other kiddies include them in the "to " bit !!!
