I went into hospital on Thursday to have both SI joints injected and also injections either side of my lower spine. The injections are to dampen the inflammation caused by the SI joints shearing when I ride or bend/lift stuff around the yard. They should also give me some pain free time, which will be a blessing. At least this way, in 2 weeks time, when everything has settled, I can start pilates and strenghten the area. It won't ever be fully stable, but at least it should mean I don't need weekly physio to keep me mobile. It's a bit uncomfortable sitting down though !

I hope it helps as much as it has helped me. I have to have my shoulder injected, and within 3 days I was pain free after being in excruciating (sp), pain for a year. Need another injection now, so it lasted about 21/2 months.
