Took Bobbie this morning to Richmond for our first show as a combination; he was an absolute star and I'm so pleased with him. We did the Open of which there were 11 forward; it was a really strong class with some fantastic ponies forward - sadly we weren't placed, but he did a super individual show and gave me lots of confidence for future shows! He really is an absolute pro and really looked after me (and my nerves!) Just need to work on getting that "polish" to our way of going now, but for my first time out with him he was very good

Thanks Sorry if that sounded a bit confusing - it wasn't his first show, or my first show, but our first show together as a combination ;D You're right though, just need to get a bit more used to his way of going, and get a bit more 'together' (if that makes sense?!)

Well done Laura and Bobbie! That's a great start and I know you'll go from strength to strength. A silly question from a non-showing person - what do the armbands signify?

That is wonderful. First show together that is still brillant. I am scared for my first show with Daisy. You both look great!

Thanks ;D Pam, the armbands differ from society to society - that one was because it was a BSPS Restricted heritage class....apparently if I'd come in the top 3 I would have qualified for something at the Winter Champs because I had the armband on. I'm still not really sure what it meant, I was just told to put it on lol!!

Well done Laura! You both look fab. How on earth did you get Bobbie so clean? How many days did it take you? LOL! Glad you enjoyed yourselves and that he looked after you. He sounds quite a gentleman.
