Can anyone reccomend a nice place to go for me, bf, and Brandy (my luvly doggy!)?
we are looking for somewhere near to beaches, as living in the middle of the country-oxfordshire, we never get to go on beaches! So anywhere with lush deserted beaches dogs are allowed on, and nice walks, but with nice places to go for meals in evenings would be ideal.
I have had a look at the recommendations part but was a main search website rather than one place, and I am scared of picking somewhere in case it is horrible! So someones reccomendation would be great!
As for location, we are thinking maybe cornwall, or wales,or somewhere on the coast but not scotland as we went there last year. And accomadation - a cottage or a nice hotel would be good, but most things would be considered!

Have you thought about Northumberland Nic? The beaches are just breathtaking and it's excellent dog walking.

I was just going to suggest Northumberland too - Alnwick is meant to be lovely, we keep meaning to go for a day trip but never get round to it

That would be lovely Amanda! We are on the direct route from Thorpe Park to Lincoln so you would probably be going right past us.

I would suggest North Wales. We went nine years on the trot with our four children and our dog. We stayed in a holiday cottage near Capel Garmon, between LLanrwst and Betws-y-Coed. We had access to beaches, lakes, mountains and miles of forestry commission land. A lovely wilderness for kids and dog.
