I went on a hack today as usual, but as I am recovering from a cold I thought Id bring Brandy along so she can have a walk as I ride, 2 birds with one stone!
Was a lovely hack, Brandy and Spirit were very well behaved, and thought Id put some pics up!

Awww, lovely pics! What a good girl Brandy is. I wish I could take Ben along with me when I ride but I know it would end in chaos! Looks like you have some great tracks to ride along.

Lovely photos Nic! I wish I could take Scruff out with me but I don't think an extending lead and a pony would be very safe! I used to take my last dog out with me and had one of those rope leads that he could just slip his head into while I stayed on board. He came miles with me. The drivers of cars used to look a bit worried when they saw me trotting down the middle lane of our main road with the dog trotting to heel next to the pony! I used to LOVE being out in the middle of the countryside with no one but my pony and my dog for company!

She is very good, but i have to say she does sometimes go all silly and try and 'play' with spirit but running round him barking and going mad! So id say it is thanks to spirits absolute angel of a character as well as brandy's mainly good behavior! You couldnt ask for a better horse to take a dog out with, he would never do anything to hurt her or anyone in fact, such a lovely softy! But yes lil Brandy is very good too, she listens very well when I am on horse, my little trick when I call her every other time i throw done a lil treat and then she always responds to me
