Just in from the bitter cold. Its blowing like mad straight from the north. We don't have snow, but whoever's to the north of us certainly does! Biting freezing winds. I ducked out to see Blossom, put down more hay for her (she was calling for a bit more but really still had some). Then she discovered the bobble on my coat. Then I thought she'd gotten it off! I spent a few mad minutes with both hands further up and into and around her mouth than I've ever been with any horse or pony. Finally realized she didn't have hold of it afterall ~ phew! Still on my coat. But she thought it was a fun game, and we did a second round as I thought she'd gotten the bobble from my hood. What a nut!! Again with the hands diving all about her mouth...silly goose, she thought it was a fun game. My bare hands with pony slobbers and strong winds did not. Talk about bone cold!!! Brrrr....they're just now thawing out.

Brrr, I'm shivering just reading this! Poor Blossom must have thought Mum is a bit of a spoilsport not wanting to play! ;D

She's a typical Dales girl! They seem very fond of buttons, zips and hats!

Saturn is always grabbing anything sticking out from my coat lol! Yesterday he got the toggle off my hood and pulled it really tight These Dales are always on the lookout for extra tidbits ;D

She does love my zips, pulls, togs, bobbles, etc. I have to be careful round her sometimes. She'd mostly quit, so I wasn't expecting this...and I certainly wasn't expecting her to make it into some fun game after I'd dove both my hands all round her mouth the first time. Got some very good molars she does. I'm just relieved she didn't get it afterall.. phew! The games ponies play

Harley's another button/toggle/fastener man - grabs anything he can.
Apollo is less selective - he just grabs the whole coat!!

LOL...so we're walking toys for them ;D Why does that not surprise me? Ah yes, I've had the ponytail pull, but not a grab for the whole coat That's a bit much! Thankfully the wind died down (yeah, much rejoicing!) and we're due for a warming trend the rest of the week. I'll believe it when I see it

..sigh...I'd rather keep with our colder temps for awhile, even your 6*, Anne. If the weather truly does what they say for the next few days, we'll be warming up to 60* to plunge to 30* on Sunday. I'd say if anyone's a tornado chaser, Sunday'd be a good day for it.

Don't do that, not even for a moment!!! You can accidentally get stuck outside.
