Thanks Gil. No the background is my father in laws place. He has a camp on the river, and the flowers were just starting to bloom. That is why we took Dan there. It is about 20 min down the road from us with lots of interesting things for him to see. I will take him again in a few weeks before it gets too hot to take photos with the roses. I love the photos that come from that place. We also hope to take him soon to the a few other places to do photos.

Oh, YES Helen, dirt and mud both exist well here in Louisiana. Mud particularly! Dan has just been kept up the last few weeks and has been blanketed all winter in prep for the show season. He is really starting to blossom and look like a young man instead of a boy!

Thanks Debbie. I hate being in photos, the husband did that to me, but it is the only pics I have of me and Danny together. It really did not take long to ready him. That was the day after the show. We had washed him on Friday, and left him in his nylon sheet. He stayed clean in that. I just had to brush shavings out of his tail a few times.
