Thanks for the comments Penny. He has no coat. I cheated and left him blanketed all winter. Sometimes with two blankets. Had to get him ready for show season so he does not look like Marcus with rat size mats!

So Marcus is getting to be a 'teen boy' just now? ;D I really do love that pic of you and Dan though. You should frame it

Yes, Marcus is still a teen. He will breed his first mare this year, and I know he is excited! He is still very much woolie, so no pics just yet. Maybe in a month or so. I am going to have the photo of Dan and I framed. I was surprised to find that one on the camera as the husband knows better than to do that on purpose, but I am pleasantly pleased to have a photo with my loving boy. He is a mummy's boy after all. Even the kids are jealous of him , not to mention the husband!

Penny, Marcus is more matted than a shedding Collie. I had to cut mats out of his long coat this weekend. He told me he would be embarrassed to have his photo taken at the moment. He looks homeless! I need to start to blanket him, maybe he can shed quicker. Remember the photos from last year? He looks the same where his coat is concerned, but his mane and forelock are much more lush. He is finally starting to look decent, getting shape to his neck, etc. Did you see the new mare? Check out our website: www.baroquefarm.com

Wow! She sure has a pedigree, and a very kind eye. What a chunky girlie Ahhhh, the joys of jealousy. I guess Dan really is Mummy's favorite. ;D

Thanks Evie. I really appreciate the comments, REALLY! It is nice to know someone else thinks they are nice as you always love your own.
Debbie, you know Danny is the favorite, he would live inside if he could. The new mare is sweet, and hopefully she will get in foal easily. I am excited to see what she and Dan produce. Marcus is being bred with Molly this year.

Ummmm, Blossom's the same way ~ she'd live in with us if she could. Ahhh, now that will be neat to see a Marcus/Molly foalie I wish horses were like dogs. It takes soooo long for them to have a foalie.

Thanks everyone. Anne, my face messes up the photo for Dan, but he is my love so I had to allow the photo. Penny, that is good to know. That explains Nuggets extra large chest! Debbie, I also hate the wait for a foal, but I am glad we only get them once a year. It takes so much time to raise one properly. That is why I am only going to breed no more than 2 at a time. I do think that the Molly/Marcus cross will be a fab pony, they compliment each other. I am also thrilled with the thought of Dan/Nugget foal, I think that will be a top notch foal as well. I just hope she can get bred easily
