Taz 6 months old, last pics before weaning

Taz ( Kingmaker Talisman) was 6 months old two days ago.
We wanted to get some final photos of him with his Mum before we wean him next week, but Taz had other plans and refused to spend more than 1 minute next to her.
He was far more interested in the "Weaning Crew" who are looking forward to his imminent arrival They are all GIRLS, Taz is entire and one of them is his full sister, so he better behave himself. We're hoping that at 6 months he won't have a clue in the love department

What a lovely looking young man! Let's hope he behaves himself, though LOL, good thing you were able to snap that pic quick with his mum. Looks like the passing of an era, he's outgrown mummy.

Who's the lovely grey in with the girls? Looks a very sweet sort.

Blimey I can hardly believe he is 6 months old already! I can see he is looking forward to meeting his new girlfriends! Wonderful pics.

Debbie - the grey is our 19 year old 18.2HH Percheron Mare Cadeby. She is the herd leader and chief Brat-Sitter. She's usually firm but fair with foals so we're hoping she'll keep Taz well and truly in his place

Everybody seems to love Cadeby. She is sweet now but she used to have serious stroppy-mare moments in her younger days. Not easy to manage with over a tonne of horse! Her temperament totally changed when she had her first foal. She used to be a stunning dapple-grey colour. Perfect for weddings. Shame they have to white-out.

Cadeby's nickname is Moomin-Momma. She does look like a moomintroll and occasionally a camel
