I am nearly 48 and with my arthritic knees and whatever, I have trouble getting on and off now - could not see myself doing it at all by the time I am in my fifties, let alone any older!!
Angela plays tennis and goes with a walking club, so is pretty active, which I suppose helps keep her muscles supple.
Yes, you don't bounce like you did when you were young. I remember the days when I fell off, laughed and got back on. Now I sit there, winded, praying I have not broken anything - oh, and howling!!
