Never one to resist a bargain I took a chance and bought 2 of their turn out rugs with detachable neck covers as they were half price in my local store. I was little worried what they would be like but we were all pleasantly suprised....so much so that another owner went and grabbed one. As you pay around £20 for a neck cover alone,£39 for a 300gm,1200 denier turn out with neck cover is a bargain. One horse has worn hers and it stayed put really well. The tail flap is the same design as on Mark Todd rugs, and I am really pleased I took a chance.

I never even thought of Tesco's. In January i was looking for a cheap rug to put on little one to help her start to molt for the earlier shows. I couldn't find on cheap enough, never even thought of Tesco's. To late really now to put anything on her, do you think??

I have a Tesco rug as well, the lightweight one and it is great. Fits both big horses.
Van, I understand your feelings - I do feel the same about supermarkets taking over the world. I buy my feed and bits and bobs from a tiny local tack shop (cheaper for feed than the agricultural feed store!). Most of my tack is bought locally as well, so that I can return ot if it doesn't fit. I've pretty much given up with the big mail order company beginning with R!
