I was wondering how Doris was too. ;D Do we need to put you into a padded room from all the panicking Alison? Fingers crossed she's a smooth swift foaling with a gorgeous healthy foalie

well she started bagging up about 10 days ago, slight changes over the last 48 hours but I still think another few days to go! keep having a little chat explaining she might as well get on with it now.... am trying not to do too much and giving her lots of space. (have not been out in my PJ's during the night yet!!!!!)

Have just seen a lovely photo of the prospective daddy - Waterside Jack - on greydales Stallions and Colts thread from the Spring show. Doris should have a beautiful baby...........

I texted Alison this am to see how Doris was and she is fine, but not looking as if she wants to get on with it yet Diana is now due in 3 weeks and not looking as if she will be in a hurry either. Doesn't even look that pregnant in fact.

Still no show from doris!
I have been having words with her, the weather has been lovely this week and she might as well get on with it.... LOL
woke up last night about 1pm as Willis was wandering about the house so thought I might as well pop out and see if she was ok - well she was - eating as usual - so it's official, I've been out in the field my PJ's so I'm stressing!

I can definitely see you camping out with Doris now ....come on, admit it, you were practicing in your jim jams, weren't you?
We had a livery on one year, and the owner sat in the field all night wrapped in a blanket. Hubby called her into the house for some breakfast at 5am, and she returned a few minutes later to find the mare had foaled ......thats quite often the case.
It has been ideal foaling weather, and I would have thought Doris would have thought so too ........
