Going to take some pics tomorrow, just trying to think of things I ought to be doing.... worming again in two weeks, fencing a paddock off for her so she has a clean safe area all to her self.(still next door to the others but she seems to be keeping to herself alot) better ring the vet and tell them we've moved just in case. who else has foals due, Clair , is it Dilly who's due april sometime, penny I think has diana due early may, Lucy when is amy due? starting to get a little bit excited now  |

Alison, Dilly is bagged up and I think she is just waiting for the weather to improve LOL she is in a paddock with Ariel for company....... Merry is due in 8 weeks time and is huge already edited to add, hope everything goes smoothly with Doris! |

Definatly.get.a.torch!,.some.umbilical.cord.spray(purple.antiseptic.spray),piece.of.binder.twine.to.tie.up.afterbirth.so.the.mare.doesn't.stand.on.it.and.a.headcollar.ready.to.pop.on.mare.incase.you.need.to.hold.mare.at.all.

The excitement is rising  Good luck to Doris, Dilly, Merry, the Nipna Four (Peggy get a move on!) Broxdown's two and Peggyloo's Welsh. Loved the photos of Dilly and Merry. They both look happy and healthy. Here's some photos of my "Ladies in Waiting" Fi (Lowhouses Fiona) due in 4 weeks but she's huge and starting to bag up so I'm not convinced she'll last that long :  and Becky (Packsfield Ella Beck) due in 5 weeks :  and one of them together which clearly shows the difference between a proven broodmare - Fi on the left has a definite, heavy triangle below her belly - and Becky who is a maiden and is just fat all over!  Apologies for the mud  edited to add, don't forget the camera Alison |
