I have just put the phone down on Julie and it's all good news!
D has been scanned and everything is absolutely normal now with two follicles ripening on her right ovary. So they are going to start covering her from Sunday night. Hooray!
The only thing is, with two follicles ripening she will have to be scanned at 14 days (I think) to see if both have taken! Knowing D........

Sounds like all the stress you have had recently was worth it then. Fingers crossed for D!!
Its sensible to have her checked early on, so if there is two, one can be safely removed. One foal is enough to deal with isn't it LOL!!

Yes Lucy, the reason for the 14 day scan is that it is far easier to get rid of one if they are spotted early rather than at 18 days an beyond. 14 days is also the minimum date you can scan for foals so its as early as you get. Magic'll get practising his best chat up lines now  |
