Proud mummy and baby at 7am this morning: Is it here? What about here? Bugger! It keeps moving! This is far to complex for a small boy! Come on sweetheart! Bingo! Only took half a day! Everyone told me "he's dim"! So "Tim Nice but Dim"!! Hopefully he'll have a proper name soon, but I think Tim will probably stick as a stable one!! LOL! FM I'm shattered.... but elated! What a day!

Well done Amy. What a gorgeous boy you have - even if he did have us all worried, but that last pic is very reassuring!!
Lucy I am amazed you found the afterbirth in all that grass - in fact how did you find Tim in it, this morning?!!!

I spotted an extra pair of ears! LOL!
Having been round the field looking for it at least twice and then with Sue it was within 10 yards of the gate! LOL!
I was looking for a bloody massacre, it was very white with minimal blood. Once in the bucket you'd have hardly known she'd given birth!
Did Molly come into season Mair?
How is D Linda!
Sorry I've been rather wrapped up in my own world today!

Tuesday morning update:
Mother and baby doing fine!
He's been up and suckled again.
Amy had half a cabbage (don't ask me why! LOL!) and a lot of fresh grass brought in so she seemed happy.
Tim is scouring a bit so I'll need to keep an eye on that. He was doing boinging round the stable (mum not impressed!) when he woke up after having a drink so seems to be in good fettle.
I am so relieved.
Thanks to everyone for your support yesterday, it really makes a huge difference!

Congratulations - he should go from strength to strength now and those ribs will disappear within minutes now he's living up to his Dales heritage and EATING He really didn't have an excuse though - you can see from the photos that Amy has a massive udder and big teats, and her belly sweeps right up to it so that the milk-bar is totally exposed. Typical man - bet he could have found the pub though Glad all is well and you can finally enjoy your new baby He'll be worth all the stress, honestly! Helen.

No, the second I think.
Has Shell had one??
I rang Tony yesterday and he's also had a filly this year over Manchester way I think. Trust me to get the boy and not the sharpest tool in the box to boot!
That said I think he's absolutely georgous (Amy has lent me her tinted spectacles! LOL!).
I haven't said bit he's whole black with no obvious white, well he better be black I shall be having words with Sammy and Amy if not!!!

Don't they looks frail and skinny when they are new born! The you watch them ping around and you know they are not so frail as they look!
Congratulations - he is of course lovely. Looking forward to hearing his proper name when you find one, we are having traouble naming ours and he is 8 days old now!
