I looked at my jods when I started riding Saturn only to discover a hole in a rather important place! So a new pair were in order. I remembered Pam saying Musto snugs were good so I ordered a pair.
They are FAB! Warm, comfy, light, warm, easy wash, easy dry, warm, stretchy - oh, and did I mention - warm!
I would like to know if anyone has the Musto waterproof overtrousers? Joe is mentioning getting together with the kids to get me these for a Christmas pressy if I would like. Can anyone tell me if they are good?

Yes, they do full over trousers as well as the chaps. I don't like full chaps in genereal - I don't like having a bare bum so as to speak.
I was looking for some over trousers a couple of years ago and tried a selection on. The Musto ones were soooooooo comfortable and well designed but I couldn't get a good fit so i went for the Rambo ones in the end. If the Must ones fit you, go for them!
I've also seen extra thick Musto Jods advertised. Has any one seen them in the flesh? I'm tempted to try some and then I wouldn't have to wear long johns underneath in the winter.

I have two pairs of the musto snug jods - have to keep my knees warm with the arthritic joints, and I cannot fault them. I am glad I got medium though, as the small would have been too snug, even for little me. I had a look at the heavyweight musto jods at Your horse live, and would have had some, but they only had extra large left. I was impressed with how heavyweight they actually were.
Have not got the overtrousers though, tend to wear my Mountain Horse lined chaps, which are great.

Are the Musto jodhds "pull on " style ..? or do they have a zip? I was just wondering as I am looking on the internet and can't quite see from the ilustrations if they had a waist band or not.... My last pair of "pull on style " jodhs just kept creeping further and further down my body and were very uncomfortable for me.?

Pull on style Leann. Quite a high waistband though. I had to get quite a big size (XL) in order to get the leg length. Well that's my excuse anyway! The extra material round my tummy keeps me lovely and warm.

Yes, as Linda says the waist pulls up very high - nearly as high as my bra! They really don't slip down at all. Very comfortable indeed. The sizings are on the small side though. I take a Large in Musto jods.

If Pam takes a size large in Musto Jod, I'll need the "elephant" size ROFL

Leann - I had a pair of longjohns under my Mustos and my Rambo padded overtrousers on top so I was toasty warm all day. ;D

I don't know how they are sized, but I am glad I got the medium - definitely could not have got in the small ones. They are nice and warm, but one of my pairs is a beige colour, and they are forever dirty - the other pair are a more sensible colour.

I need the XL and they are so snug I can't get my long johns under them! I was still warm though. I would really like to have some overtrousers but after Pam's comment I think I need to go and try some on.

Mine are large and they do vary in size, I bought a pair of beige ones at YHL ready for hunting, as they were half price, would deffinately not have bought that colour under normal circumstances, but I have been living..literaly in mine for the last three years, I have two black pairs, a brown, a navy and a green pair and they are all different, the brown are deffinately the smallest.
