We're home! We had a great afternoon/evening at Lucy's on Wednesday. Tim rolled out his red carpet and agreed to accept visitors although he wasn't giving autographs - just foalie nips and lots of pick-pocketing. He has stacks of character and a real cheeky streak! When we arrived we were really pleased to see that Celt approached Lucy before us - it proves that they have bonded already Then she recognised us and proceeded to do evil faces and nasty lunges at the rest of Lucy's ponies who only wanted a share of the scratches. Talk about possessive. She seems to have turned into "Witch-Pony" in her attempts to gain a high rank in her new herd Isaac showed off his party-tricks - bowing and saluting and doing pretty impressive giraffe imitations to order. Choc ignored everybody in keeping with her desire for a calm and quiet life, Amy drove-off the pesky Celt and came to say hello and Vanty just looked worried, bless him. I think it may have been my daft hat! Tim particularly liked Martin's beard - "What's a goatee mummy?" and enjoyed savaging my tassles. Little S*D. Afterwards we braved the Oestrogen Club, although Martin and Steve were given a one-night invitation too. Lots of yummy curry, made by Lucy, and far too much wine. Somewhere along the line I heard myself agreeing to contribute to the "mooncup" calendar (in Personal Chat) HELP!!!!! Lucy and Steve were great fun and great hosts. They have a beautiful house, great land and lovely ponies. We really couldn't ask for a better home for our first homebred Dales baby. Good luck Lucy and Celt Lucy has already posted pics of our visit but here's one of Tim attempting to knee-cap me : and Tim kissing (consuming) Martin :
