Rushed home for a shower - D quite restless today - getting up and down - circling like a dog making it's bed! But then she goes off for a graze - totally relaxed. Hmmmm. I think it's wind! I'm having a nice holiday anyway! Joe watched while I had a sleep this afternoon as I am a bit knackered getting up every hour. I'm an eight hours sleep a night girl and this is a bit of a killer! It'll all be worth it though!

Yes it would be "PANTS" to miss the foal arriving after all your hard work staying awake and on site to be there for it. Surely she can't last much longer...Tonight may well be the night Linda.  |

Oooh I know how you feel, I've been waiting for 3 1/2 weeks for a mini shettie foal (running with the stallion, no firm dates. Milk there yesterday, no foal yet today. They don't always give the classic signs I'm afraid. They just give you a look as if to say - 'well? what are you looking at then?' Not acknowledging that its 3am and then 5 am... Is it time for more hay?
I must take a photo of her - Thelwell have got nothing on her - she is like a small whale with stick legs!
