Tim's not typing yet, but is being spruced up for next weekend. ;D Here he is from last week (fluffy little herbert!) showing no signs of his injuries: Thanks, Richie will pass on your good wishes. HELEN my big news is we've done trotting (pre- brakes! LOL!) Went out yesterday with Claire on Wiz (as a responsible adult) and met a rather large lorry on a T corner which, as we were in front (Celt likes leading and hates Isaac going past once she's ahead ;D ) I waved to slow the lorry down, she shot off, and about 20 yards on I got her back to a walk. I didn't want to go hauling on her to stop her. Wiz mean while was going along sideways at speed behind her cos Claire wouldn't let him hoon off after us and make her more scared (responsible adult - not!). Claire thinks it was waving my whip that set her off, I think it was the lorry, who knows . Anyway, as we'd trotted we did a couple more little controlled trots (10 yards or so) with Isaac as lead pone and she was brill. I even did some rising and she didn't bat an eye-lid! Are you sure you didn't back her before she came over??! Ready to go last weekend with Sue and Amy: And yesterday with Claire and Wiz: Obviously upset at me checking her girth - not! Claire and Isaac patiently waithing for me to stop faffing about! All set: Notice Claire has Wiz platted up and looking very swish, Celt did not! Professionals hey!

Knock on wood ~ long may her sensible side last! LOL....welllll, the responsible adult for the Wiz and Claire team was Claire ;D

she looks fab Lucy. Well done. Your hard work is really starting to pay off now. Isaac is looking as handsome as ever too. Love his plait. Think the only lorry Celt ever saw here was the one she loaded onto to leave. She should be good with very noisy, decrepid tractors that shed bits as they move Shame Amy is lame, otherwise Sue could have made up the threesome. But then who would take pics Can't get over just how well Tim Scissor Hands has healed

We are riding Amy "gently", she's on low dose Danilon for a month with a little light work with hoof boots on. She went out with Celt last week end was great. Sue had to go to work today and Claire was away too so we had a lesson yesterday, so no walker with me for the last two times! Steve broke off from shelter building to take the pics bless him!
I cannot believe how well the little kn*b's healed considering how horrific his injuries were. I am one lucky person on many counts.
She's fine with tractors (more of the same here!) and getting better with Steve's Gator as long as it's not flashing!

Oooh that's briliant with Celt! You've got one smashing pony there and I'm sure you're going to have many years of fun together. I always maintain that how they are right from the start is how they will always be.

We went out as a ridden threesome today, me on Celt. Sue on Amy and Claire on Wiz and got back alive ... just! Isaac was a kn*b! Tim eat your heart out! He was miffed at Claire asking him to be grown up and behave! Claire was also poorly as she's been very ill last week and he was thinking he could get away with it, he was only just right! I think he doesn't like to be at the back and doesn't like the fact his mummy is riding Celt and he has to be good with auntie Claire as her standards are higher! Amy was like a new pone (the Danilon and hoof boots are working!) she was a little nappy but forward going until coming home. she tripped over her new boots (she'd got tired and was being lazy) and landed on her knees! How Sue stayed on I'll never know! Or how Amy stood up again and kept on walking until Sue pulled her up and jumped off. Thankfully she hadn't broken her knees, and they are still ok tonight and not hot and swollen (probably the low dose Danilon, phew!) I'll be buying knee boots now, has anyone got any for sale?? She is 11" above the knee. Celty was an angel! How I love her! I mounted from the ground for the first time ever and she didn't bat an eyelid. Claire let the big gate slam behind us (inadvertantly as Wiz was being a knob, ditto!) New village route, ditto. Scarey builders stuff, ditto. Huge noisey lorry, stood for ages before barging Isaac to move feet, very good and no hysterics. Trotting, walk in the park. Trotting in front, yes I can do that too! Letting anyone pass me - I'll have to kill them! Ooh, I'm a bit tired now and will follow Amy's bottom. Last bit home (where she's usually very bad in hand) wtf was that??! 3 strides in trot, stop and look, oh, why is Sue on the floor?? (Amy fell over!) and why is Uncle Issac doing piaffe and Claire getting cross?? All in all, Celt was the responsible adult today!!!! Not chuffed or anything! Celt still for sale ................................... £1,000,000 ;D
