I got homework today too! How rude is that?! I need to set gols for Isaac, Celt and me. Anyone got any good ideas?? Homework from who? I usually have bad ideas - some of them are even very bad My goal for next year is to get Musk going sufficiently well (and controlled) to enter a ridden class at a show. James and I are going for at lesson in the school at the livery yard up the road next Saturday as Penny (who's been teaching me to back Musk) has heard a great deal about him - I doubt any of it was good she's curious to meet him......... My goal is to (a) stay on as the bit of school between C and F houses a monster eating pony and (b) to keep him moving in any direction as school work is BORING!!! Does that give you inspiration or have I got the wrong end of the stick? I think I meant a pony eating monster............

Claire Dale gives us homework after our lessons. Nothing's changed in the last 30 years, i still rarely do it! She perseveres with us though. I think your goals are good. I have to think up a 1 month, 6 month and 12 month one for each of us. Staying on sounds a good one for me! LOL!

I got homework today too! How rude is that?! I need to set gols for Isaac, Celt and me. Anyone got any good ideas?? Echo Mandy, they sound great objectives. I would be thinking to aim Celt at the walk/trot class and maybe the first season class at Derbshire next year...and maybe the have a go class at performance show??? yeah?? Or just aim to go on a pleasure ride or a EGB (small length) ride if thats more you thing, or aim to do a RC rally with her etc. Whatever floats your boat set a level within that. Same with Issac, just higher ones that celt. I love having aims to work with, I have little aims in mind for about the next 2/3 years wtih all mine. Of course, things change so they are all flexible but they keep me on the straight and narrow. edited to say I cross-posted!!

Babies, but maybe not for Isaac No seriously, I think Anna's suggestions are great for Celt and Isaac, especially as I love to see Dales in the Traditional Walk & Trot classes. Think they'd both enjoy some pleasure rides and it would be nice for you to "compete" at the Performance Show and have a year off from organising it Not sure how you break that down into 1 month, 6 month and 12 month plans though? More driving for Amy if she stays sound? And another baby!!!

Went out with just Isaac (with sue on top) and Claire walking yesterday. Celt had wind and was the size of a barage ballon (we'd moved the fence on Friday! LOL!) so she couldn't really be bothered, it was just too much (parrp! Oh excusez-moi!)! ;D Isaac had a "Tim" head on and was having a ongoing argument with Sue about behaving or not! Sue had a good lesson and I decided I was riding the wrong pone as Isaac had not been that "upwards" since Bakewell two years ago! Such an opportunity to get some lovely collected work from him. Sue had to make him chill instead! Sigh! Celtie was nannying Isaac! Sue and I went out on Isaac and Amy today and he didn't put a foot wrong and really wasn't bothered about anything, what a let down! Celt tried to climb the fence cos she was soooo miffed she wasn't going out too! What a little And she'd stayed back whilst we cleaned tack incase we realised we'd forgotten her! Bless! "Moi, moi, pick MOI!"
