Well no pics I'm afraid! I have friend who is a really good rider helping me. She worked for a year at a local yard where the woman buys and sells top class dressage horses....so, she's such a naturally good rider it's embarrassing to get on in front of her! Anyhow in exchange for lifts to any competitions I go to she is helping me with Holly. She said she has got really good active paces, but a very young head on her shoulders and very excitable. She said do 10 mins a day quality work on the lunge for the next twoweeks then we will start with 10 mins ridden lessons and work on from there. She's even going to ride H in her first test which is cool! So yesterday and today H has done 10 mins on the lunge with no whip which has calmed her down a lot. Still threw the odd buck in though little monkey! I'll take some more pics tomorrow. You'll be doing it with Dan Soon! Jo x

Day 4 - did some really nice work on the lunge today. she was really stepping under and hoovering, having a really good stretch through! Only two circles of headless galloping. She is listening much more now.I took some pics and will try to put the on later.

Yes the school is great. It's silicone sand and shredded rubber so really nice and bouncy, plus quite soft too land on. Only trouble is you get sand in your pants and socks! And.... those boots are never very white when we finish!

Aaaah! bless her little heart she has surpassed herself today! I put her saddle on to lunge today. Only one buck and straight into canter. I said steady, she came back to a trot and that was it, all the high jinks I got. She is getting so good. I am really looking forward to getting back on her. I'll try and get someone to take pics tmorrow. Jo x
