Everything crossed that he is, and carries on recovering.
Once he gets a bit better could you walk him out in hand or would he get too excited?

Oh yes - he'd be fine walking out in hand, especially if I took another calm horse with us. He has been out in hand this week on Wednesday and Thursday - Jen (who was giving the lesson when you visited, Pam) walked her horse out in hand and got one of the others to walk Bea for me. He was OK and seemed to enjoy the change of scenery.

That's good news Sue - I did think that his fetlock seemed less puffy by the time I left. Hopefully he will be back to normal very soon

That is REALLY good news Sue. You must be soooo relieved. Will keep him in my thoughts until he is 100% though. Merits a glass of wine I think.

That's wonderful news!!! I'm hoping he just sprained it in a hole in the field, and that he'll continue to be right in just a few days more. Thank goodness you've found a way to keep him happier about stall rest. Some don't seem to mind at all, others panic when the herd's let out, but not them.

Thats good news! I also got the free sample but working it out it'll only last 3 days and a day with half the dose? Oh well at least it was free!

LOL - not exactly a loading dose then, is it!
Bea was given some turnout this morning in a larger field than the patch he's had recently - and went for a huge hoolie all by himself. He made everyone laugh because he was clearly enjoying himself so much, but it wasn't quite what we wanted him to do at the stage.
However, his fetlock hasn't puffed up again. I cold-hosed it just in case, but he seems fine....fingers crossed.
Another horse on the yard has gone lame now for no apparent reason - fetlock as well.....very odd.

So glad to hear that he's improving. Their lamenesses can sure be hard to figure out. Fingers & hooves crossed that he continues to heal & is 100% soon.
