My news My baby was driven in a proper two wheel vehicle today!! So well behaved and quiet! So proud of him Sorry to show off but can't help myself. I am going to have the most spectacular pair next year, I can't wait. Also managed to win the last club driving trial of the year with the Sport monster whose dressage is reaching new heights. Ok its all relative And have bought a little Welsh Sec A to drive as well just for fun! it's all go here for 08! What's everyone else up to. Lucy is your pony in foal?

Hi Clara! It would be lovely to see a pic of your lad with his carriage...... What a good boy!!
And hey - you show off if you want to......we LOVE to hear about people's achievements and the progress of their ponies.
The Sec A sounds sweet - any pics? LOL
Lucy's Amy is in foal......I think there's a thread in the breeding forum with some mad name like "rolly polly trolley" or something......it reflects Luce's excitement anyway!!

Woohoooo Clara, WICKED!!!! On both counts, baby driving and special Sporty winning as well. Section A... well I'll forgive you as every Dales home has to have something a bit Welsh to make it proper! (I have Pants, who's a lot Welsh actually - 15hh built like a brick out-house - 3/4 welsh cob 1/4 arab, and as mad as a box of frogs!!)
Amy is in foal, thanks for asking, and is telling us in no uncertain terms that she can't possible work as she is growing a foalie instead! She's been doing more long reining lately, a little bit of riding and today we put her in the cart for our lesson and went out with my gelding being ridden along side. They were both really good. Her standing is improving!
Isaac didn't bat an eye at the cart, and we plan to start him in it at Christmas when we've consolidated our long reining a little more and we'll have lots of Sue's friends to help (the ones that helped with Amy last Christmas.)
I went to the BHDTA National Championships at Catton Hall two weeks ago. Well more like fell upon it! We were doing railway stuff with OH and someone had made a de-tore as the A38 was closed by an accident and had seen it, they told us so we went to look on the way home. It was marathon day but unfortunately it was all over when we got there so we went back the next day on the way to my brothers for lunch, and watched all the ponies cone driving - singles, pairs and fours! WOW! I have some piccies I'll have to post. It should have been at Windsor but got moved because of foot and mouth, so I was really lucky, plus they didn't charge us to go in!!
Anyway post some piccies of your baby (what's his name?), and the little Dales imposter, and really well done for winning your trial!

Wow Lucy great news about Amy! Lucky you for going to Catton. It is on my list of things to do is go and watch the champs. I am always astounded by the level achieved by the drivers. I will have to get my bottom in gear and sort out posting the pics. I am really lazy, sorry. For once I actually did have my camera with me. Will get some photos of the Welsh A - he is very pretty with lovely paces. Maybe tonight.
