Our wretched Stanely stove (cooker/boiler/central heating) has decided to pack up, I have family coming for Christmas this weekend   . The only person who fixes them that we know of is really hard to get hold of - have no idea what we'll do if we can't get it sorted! Perfect timing grrrrrrrrrrrrr!! |

 Oh dear!!! Maybe a holiday for all then? Is there a nearby B &B you could rely on to put people in if the stove can't be repaired/replaced in time?

Oh bloody hell, Gill. That's really bad timing. Hope it can be fixed in time......you must be freezing!
Could you afford one of those small electric ovens and a couple of camping stoves. It won't be the same, but you'd at least be able to cook a hot meal.

Well incredibly we have managed to contact the fitter and he's going to try to fit us in tomorrow  !! Fingers crossed he can sort it out ......... (I've just had to make up a log fire and the living room stinks like a bonfire LOL!). Haven't got enough logs to last the winter!! |
