Hello Karen, about 3 and 3/4 hours there, but we did stop for pony refreshments and driver swap. Only just over 3 hours back and we still stopped for pony refreshments! Why is it always quicker coming home?

We did Norma! LOL We did!
We tried to win a bottle of it in the raffle, but we ended up buying a bottle on the way home! Complete with icy lemonade and fruit! Nic had 2!

Pimms and lemonade again!
I really must get a good stock of Pimms for the end of the month!
Joking aside; you and Nic deserve your rewards with Aster yesterday - you work so d**n hard.
Keep up the good work; and hopefully I will be able to get up to see those lovely ponies again before the end of the year!

Brilliant news for Nic - I am sooo proud of her!
I wanted to go to this show - but it was just too far away for me.

Alison, you should have said you wanted to go, we could have shared the journey. There was room for Doris next to Aster and she would have had company. They have travelled together before afterall. Nic pitched her tent and there was plenty of room to share or put another tent! The BBQ was lovely and the weather very kind.
Thanks Karen - crushed ice sounds good right now - its about 120 degrees in this office!

Thanks Bev, the stallion is Twywell Samuel Pepys owned by Tony DeBell. A lovely stallion with a lovel nature. I know Grace won't mind me telling you instead. I am also impressed with how this boy looks, but then you and I have similar taste don't we? LOL.
