Of course I would Lucy but having so many here ... ;D Well I tried longlining Remy today off the bit - she was an absolute star! She's hardly had any bit contact apart from side reins off the lunging roller. I even had her turning very rudimentary figures of eight, bless her she really tries hard to please ;D. She didn't fight the contact one little bit even when she wasn't quite sure what I was asking her. I'll try and get some pics at the weekend

Well done Gill and Remy. Sounds like her education is continuing without hitch. Looking forward to seeing photos of this!

Longlining Remy, sorry pic overload! She's looking a bit lean as she still hasn't put back the weight she lost over winter, so I'm still feeding her. She was such a good girl, sooooo laid back and her attitude was 'I don't really know what you are doing but I'll try and go where I think I ought to!'. She is fab off the bit, no resistance whatsoever. Well maybe the 'whoa' takes a little time lol ;D Excuse my longlines I am useless at keeping them neat and tidy and can't cope whatsoever with a whip ;D Off she goes Attempting some turns (I am not used to seeing a horse so narrow compared with my Dales!!! Hopefully she'll muscle up with age and work) Whoa! NOW what is the woman doing - waiting patiently while I sort out my reins LOL

She looks really calm and relaxed Gill. LOL at the muddley reins. I can keep one lot tidy when lunging but 2 lots when long reining and I'm like you!

I tend to use my driving reins now for long-lining as they are a bit shorter than lunge lines. Doesn't give much room for flying heels though!!
Remy looks very relaxed about it all Gill, bet you can't wait to hop on!

Wonderful pics. You must be thrilled with her calm, accepting attitude. What a lovely, rich colour her coat is.
