Would this be suitable for me and alfie? Haven't done anything like that for such a long time I'm likely to be more nervous than him, Will it be a steady pace or people setting off at different times?

charliefar it will be a very steady pace, we will all set off together and some will no doubt get ahead and the rest of us will mosey along together ;D Sue, Helen at the estate office said if we can get 15 people then she will do it at £10/person. Is that a good deal? Sorry Lu, I had forgotten all about the Countryside Live event, I was going to go there myself...

I would love to bring Alf, and it would do him the world of good, but just checked the route and it will be about 1hr45mins each way, which is doable (plenty of coffee on the way back to keep me awake lol) but it depends really on what time you are starting, and how long do you think we would be riding for? thanks

Can I bring a non-dales? I'm entered at Countryside Live but I "think" the Dales are the Saturday, I can't actually find a schedule at the minute but I'm sure they were last year so she'll be on a day off but Mungo would love a trip out if we're allowed please?

Well I've put the date in my diary, how far do I have to let you know in advance that we'll definately be coming? I'm really keen and think it looks like a really nice place to introduce him to everyone. We both just need to get a bit fitter thats all, but we trotted round some stubble fields with the race horses today so I'm sure a few more weeks of that and we'll be ready for anything.
